Presentation on the 2026 Episcopal Grasslands Gathering

This past May, Virginia Schmidt had the chance to represent Wyoming at the 2nd Annual Episcopal Grasslands Conference in Amarillo, Texas

Virginia learned about "playa" ecosystems (they're not what you think!), the Ogalala Aquifer, water concerns with AI data centers, how some Episcopal churches are THRIVING (at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Amarillo, we Grasslands goers watched 22 new folks get confirmed in one Sunday service!), and how Episcopalians coming together around natural ecosystem regions rather than manufactured "provincial regions" could be a powerful way to root faith and community going forward.

Come join her on the evening of Thursday, August 20 as she shares what she learned on her church-meets-conservation adventure to Amarillo.
