Women of Christ Church (WOCC) September Luncheon
The last Women of Christ Church summer luncheon meets the third Wednesday of September, from 11 AM to 1 PM.
The fourth and final Summer Luncheon is at Douglas Sunderland's house in Cody on Wednesday, September 16. Bring your own lunch! Hosts will provide beverages. Bring a neighbor or a friend! Carpool if you can.

In-Gathering Sunday
On Sunday, September 20, 2026, Christ Church will be accepting donations for Episcopal Relief and Development (ERD). ERD is the arm of the Episcopal Church which has as its charge to work in partnership within the Anglican community advancing lasting change worldwide in communities affected by injustice, poverty, disaster, and climate change. A check representing the total collected at Christ Church will be presented to the Diocesan Convention in October. The Foundation for the Episcopal Diocese of Wyoming matches the total donation up to $50,000.00, which doubles your donation for the work of the ERD. Christ Church is given credit for any individual donations made to ERD during the year and that amount is included in the match. If you have made such a donation please let Jay Moody know the amount given.
Throughout September we will also collect donations for a gift basket that will be auctioned off at Diocesan Convention to support ERD's mission.

Memorial Service for Rt. Bishop Bob Jones
The Rt. Bishop Bob Gordon Jones, DD, 7th Bishop of Wyoming, Retired, died August 8, 2026 at the age of 93. Funeral services will be held at Christ Church.
His philosophy of Life and Death is summed up in this version of Hunter S. Thompson's words: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-Sauvignon Blanc in one hand-chocolate in the other-body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"
